Google has released an update that addresses several vulnerabilities in the Chrome browser. These vulnerabilities affect Chrome users on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

  • Chrome versions prior to 151.0.7922.75/.76 (Windows, Mac).

Resolved Vulnerabilities


The update addresses multiple “Use After Free” vulnerabilities in Google Chrome. The affected CVEs are CVE-2026-19137, CVE-2026-19149, CVE-2026-19154, CVE-2026-19170, CVE-2026-19172, CVE-2026-19140, CVE-2026-19141, and CVE-2026-19142.

In addition, there is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability (CVE-2026-19157), a heap buffer overflow vulnerability (CVE-2026-19138), a race condition vulnerability (CVE-2026-19139), vulnerabilities related to insufficient validation of untrusted input (CVE-2026-19169 and CVE-2026-19143), and CVE-2026-19168, an implementation error vulnerability in Google Chrome’s V8 engine, have been resolved.

A patch was released via the August 4, 2026, update. Windows and Mac users need to update to Chrome 151.0.7922.75/.76 Or later, and Linux users need to update to Chrome 151.0.7922.75 Or later.
