Affected Versions

  • FFmpeg versions 8.1.0 Through 8.1.2.
  • FFmpeg versions 8.0.0 Through 8.0.3.

Mitigation

A Vulnerability Patch has been provided via the latest update.

  • Version addressing CVE-2026-8461: FFmpeg 8.1.2.
  • Version addressing CVE-2026-8461: FFmpeg 8.0.3.
